Secretary

The Secretary​ shall keep an accurate record of all meetings of the PTO and the Executive Board and work with the Communication Officer to ensure minutes/etc. is sent to school parents. The Secretary shall maintain for reference at each meeting a copy of these Bylaws, and the list of all standing committees and their responsibilities. The Secretary shall also perform such other duties as may be delegated by the Board.

What does this mean?

the Secretary’s job is to take notes and attendance during meetings, write meeting minutes, understand the Bylaws of the board, and help out other board members when necessary. If you can type and take notes this position may be for you.
