We recognize that the last few weeks have been a whirlwind of information and emotions. We are so proud of our Beaver Acres administration and staff for working diligently to share information as it was available and remain focused on the safety of the students. We know it’s difficult to remain calm and of clear mind during this time of uncertainty and appreciate you all very much.
We ask that you hold on to any paper orders for the Spring Fundraiser, and submit those when school reopens. Any packets already turned in are at the school and inaccessible at this time. When school resumes we will update when a delivery date is known. Online orders will continue to be processed and shipped until April 10th. Many families have asked what they can do and how we can all help. Please continue to check in on each other and give back to the community just as you have always done. The PTO board will continue to be in communication with school administration as appropriate on any opportunities that may arise. We will continue to send out immediate communication for any update on PTO coordinated events and activities. If you haven’t already done so please follow Beaver Acres Elementary PTO on Facebook. That will be our first and fastest way to get information out.
The Beaverton School District is now accepting donations from the greater Beaverton community to support community-wide efforts to provide food boxes, toiletries, and other essential items to our families during emergency situations. There are many Beaverton families who struggle economically even in the best of times, and this fund will enable the Beaverton School District to work with community partners to serve our families.
